BIG SKY DOC FESTIVAL invites Living Dolls to screen at the festival, Feb. 2014

More than 130 non-fiction films are announced as the official selections for the 11th Annual Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, which takes place February 15-23 in Missoula, Montana. The 2014 lineup was selected from over 1,000 submissions from around the world, and features an array of films covering all genres in the feature, short, and mini-doc categories. Maureen Judge leads Ryerson workshop for non-professionals: Bring personal milestones to life via smart phone videos

 

Makin’ Movies filmmaker, Maureen Judge presents a short  workshop that focuses on how to make short family and other milestone videos using a simple and portable device like your smart phone or tablet at Ryerson University’s Chang School of Continuing Education  over two Saturdays April 13 and 20, 2013.

The class includes a hands-on overview of storytelling, production and editing basics using free tools as well as screenings of short videos and class discussion. 

Going beyond snapshots
Once you learn the “how to”, you can produce and copy your short personal memory videos to a DVD, upload them to YouTube/Vimeo and share them with a family member or friend. It’s an easy and fun way to capture special moments from our lives.
